There is a void in our Hearts that only God can fill. However, many people try for years to fill this emptiness with things, relationships and varied activities, which can never satisfy: For they serve as only temporary devices for momentary happiness and pleasure.

Only Jesus can satisfy our souls, and only Him can change our hearts and make us whole. He'll Give us Peace we never knew, sweet Love and Joy and Heaven too, here on Earth. Surely, Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and can be your sweet peace.

We Triumph In Christ

Jesus said as long as we live in the world, we're going to have trouble, tribulations, trials and distress according to John 16:33. However, the word of God also assures us that Christ always causes us to Triumph in every situation; because we've gotten the Victory that Overcometh this World, even our Faith (2 Cor. 2:14).

Hence, we can give the Lord PRAISE and REJOICE, not just in the good times, for the many blessings He bestows upon us; but also during those troubled times of our lives. A Testimony Of Hope In Heaven

Recently, my son's best friend was killed in a car accident and we were so devastated and confused. It seemed to us like such a pointless loss until, through his death, the boy's father came to know Christ.

While living, he fought constantly with his father about God, but through the tragedy of his death, he was victorious and his father gave his heart to Christ. That is ultimate victory of eternal significance that will never stop giving.

My son's friend is in Heaven now rejoicing at his victory and I'm reminded of the song "My Hope is in Heaven." It says, "Sometimes our brightest days come out of our darkest night."

Jesus warned that darkness would come and though it takes what we hold dear, it cannot take our greatest treasure—our faith in Christ. Our treasure is not of this world—our hope is in Heaven. Our joy is not bound to temporal things and our peace is eternal. Our joy is boundless even in our darkest hour.
